Remember how Trump emphasized personal brand as an outsider, pushed aside moderates while bringing in new voters, doubled down on controversial rhetoric, portrayed his political party as spineless and beholden to donors, ran as a political outsider promising a total break from traditional politics, harnessed alternative platforms to lead the mainstream media around by their noses, and then won the presidency and dominated the political scene for the next ten years? Even without all the murder death kill stuff, the record of socialism is atrocious. Abandoning socialist policies pulled 90% of the planet out of poverty. The only thing socialists might cure in America is obesity.
According to Gallup, only a third of Democrats are very proud to be American. The GOP number has been consistently in the 90s, no matter who was president.
